सच के साथी फैक्ट्सअप एक मीडिया साक्षरता कार्यक्रम था, जो बड़े पैमाने पर समाज में तथ्य-जांच (फैक्ट-चेक) की शक्ति का प्रसार करके गलत/विघटनकारी सूचनाओं के बारे में अपने पाठकों/यूजर्स को सही जानकारी उपलब्ध कराने के लिए पूरी तरह समर्पित था। सच के साथी अभियान के छठे संस्करण का मुख्य उद्देश्य विषयों की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला के साथ, अपने पाठकों को ऑनलाइन और ऑफलाइन फैलने वाली झूठी सूचनाओं के खतरे के बारे में शिक्षित करना रहा है। यह प्रशिक्षण संक्षिप्त और आकर्षक तरीके से उन लोगों के लिए प्रस्तुत किया गया, जो समाज के 'सच के साथी' बनना चाहते हैं। विश्वास न्यूज ने भारत के 11 राज्यों और 20 शहरों में ऑनलाइन और ऑफलाइन दोनों सत्रों के माध्यम से देश के आम नागरिकों को गलत सूचनाओं को पहचानने और फैक्ट चेक की जानकारी देने का सफल प्रयास किया।
