It is being claimed with the post that this is the world’s first successful human-animal hybrid. Vishvas News in its investigation found that this claim is false. Facebook page Mafred Amadin shared the post, in which the description read: “Scientists announced that they have created the first successful human-animal hybrid.”

Investigation

Vishvas News first searched the viral image with the help of Google reverse image search. We found this photo at jaredkrichevsky.com/. This website belongs to US character artist Jared Krishevsky. According to the information available here, it was made by Jared Krishevsky for the film Jupiter Ascending.

We also found this photo at artstation.com. According to the information given here, this picture was made artificially by Jared Krishevsky.

We also found this picture uploaded on Jared Krishevsky’s Intragram account in 2015. Here the description read with this picture ” ‘Wolf pup’. Design for #jupiterascending. This scene got cut from the film, but it was supposed to be the origin of Channing Tatums wolf guy. #conceptart #zbrush #digitalart #design #characters # hybrid”

We contacted Jared Krishevsky via email regarding this matter. In response, his assistant Teming Lu said, “It is not a real species, but a design made for a film. It is a matter of pride for us that people are considering it real. But the truth is that it was artificially created by Jared Krishevsky.”

This post was shared on Facebook by a Facebook user named Mafred Amadin. After scanning the profile of this user, we found that the user has 90 followers.
