It is clear from our investigation that the viral video is not related to Tamil Nadu. We contacted Rajendra Singh Parmar, Deputy Editor of Gujarati Jagran, over this video for additional confirmation. He confirmed that the video is of an old incident in Gujarat. He said that the accent of the person talking in the video is of Kathiawadi Gujarati.

It is noteworthy that on March 2, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had tweeted that he had received information about an attack on Bihar labourers working in Tamil Nadu through newspapers, after which he had written to Bihar’s chief secretary and Director General of Police. While giving instructions, the order was given to ensure the safety of the migrant labourers of the state.

After this, many such videos and pictures went viral on social media, which were not related to Tamil Nadu. Fact-check reports of such videos and images can be read on Vishvas News website.
