New Delhi (Vishvas News): A picture of Meghan Markle and Princess Diana is viral on social media. It is being claimed that Meghan Markle arrived at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth dressed like Princess Diana.
The viral claim turned out to be false in the investigation of Vishvas News. The viral picture of Meghan Markle is from the year 2019. Which people are now sharing on social media with a misleading claim.

Twitter user Ofentse Mwase shared this picture with caption, “If “I don’t give a damn” was a person. Meghan Markle dressed like Princess Diana yesterday.”

Investigation :
We searched the photo through Google reverse image. We found this picture in a report by Vogue. It was published in the year 2021.
Taking the investigation further, we started searching on Google with related keywords. We found this picture on stock images website Alamy. The picture was shared in November 2019. According to the caption, Meghan Markle attended the Remembrance Sunday Memorial at the Cenotaph in London.
During the research, we found this picture in the Reuters photo gallery with the same information in the year 2019.
We found a viral picture of Princess Diana uploaded on the Shutterstock website. According to the caption, this picture of Princess Diana was taken in November 1991. When she attends a National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in Westminster
We contacted London-based journalist Naomi Canton for more information. She told us that the viral claim is false. This picture is many years old and is from the month of November, because this is the kind of clothes we wear on Memorial Day in the month of November.
At the end of the investigation, Vishvas News did a social scanning of the user Ofentse Mwase who posted the fake. As per the information given on the profile, the user has been active on Twitter since December 2009. The user is followed by 111.4K people.
