New Delhi, Vishvas News. A video is going viral on social media, in which a building can be seen on fire. It is being claimed on social media that the video is from Turkey. Vishvas News found in its investigation that this claim is false. Actually, this video is from Abu Dhabi.

The caption accompanying the viral video on social media reads “Turkey. A fire broke out in an entire residential tower in the center of Bodrum”

Investigation
We searched the keyframes of this video using Google reverse image. We found this video uploaded on Jun 18, 2021 on the verified YouTube channel of The National News. According to the description written with the video, the video is from Abu Dhabi.
We also found this video on a YouTube channel named Ahsoon Vlogs with the same description that the video is from Abu Dhabi.
We also got news about this on gulfnews.com. According to the news, the incident is from Al Mamoura area of Abu Dhabi.
We reached out to Gulf News reporter Samiha Zaman via Twitter in this regard. In response, she confirmed that the incident took place in the Al Mamoura area of Abu Dhabi. She told us that the incident happened on June 17.
Many people are sharing this video on social media with false claims. One of these is a Facebook user named ‘Khaled Rahal’. According to the profile, the user has 125 followers on Facebook.
Conclusion: Vishvas News in its investigation found that this claim is false. Actually this video is from Abu Dhabi, not Turkey.
