New Delhi (Vishvas News): Sharing a picture of a mountain that looks like Sai Baba, social media users are claiming that this is a real mountain shaped like Sai Baba. Vishvas News checked the viral post and found the claim to be misleading. The photo of the mountain seen in the viral picture is edited. The real mountain does not look like Sai Baba. The viral picture was created by a digital artist.
Facebook page Cambodia Life shared the photo with the caption “Nature is Sai.”

Vishvas News did a Google reverse image search on the viral picture. We could not find any such mountain as shown in the viral post.
However, we found the picture of this mountain on many websites, but the upper part of it was not like that in the viral picture. Photo of a real mountain is an island near Ao Phang Nga National Park in Phang Nga Province, Thailand. The difference between the two pictures can be seen in the collage below.
We found the picture of a viral Sai Baba-like mountain at pixels.com. As per the information available here, it was created by digital artist Anil Samotia.
We directly contacted Anil Sharma Samotia in this matter through mail. In response, he said, “Yes this picture is edited, which I made with the help of digital tools. The real mountain is in Thailand, which does not look like Sai Baba.”
A scan of the profile of Cambodia Life, the page that shared this post, shows that the page has 1,156,652 followers.
