Facebook user Nikul Nikul B V (Archive) shared the viral video and wrote, “Kabutar ne kiya Putin ko salute”
To know the truth of the viral claim, we searched the screenshots of this video on Google reverse image. We found the same video uploaded on June 2, 2017 on a YouTube channel named News Russia Ukraine Syria World. In this video, Putin waves at the pigeon, but the pigeon does not salute back.
We also found this video uploaded on 1st June 2017 on YouTube channel named Alexey аков. Here also the pigeon is not seen greeting Putin.
