As seen in the comments of the viral post, a user has written that the name of the person seen in the video is Hussainbala Miralamov. Taking a hint from here, we extracted the keyframes of this video with the help of InVID tool and searched them on Google reverse image with the keyword ‘Husainbala Miralamov’. We found a report in this matter on panatimes.com. A viral video was also embedded with this news. According to the news, “Husseinbala Miralamov, a former Azerbaijan MP and university professor, was fired after inappropriately touching his female employee on camera.”
In this case, Miralamov also gave an interview to unikal.org, in which he told that this incident happened during a conference of the university.
Hussainbala Miralamov was the MP of Azerbaijan but after this incident he was expelled. He is also a teacher in the university.
Whereas, the President of Azerbaijan is Ilham Aliyev. Ilham Aliyev and Husseinbala Miralamov have no similarities in their appearance. This difference can be clearly seen in the collage below.
We contacted Martil Azuki, web editor of unikal.org regarding the matter. They told us that “the person in the video is Hussainbala Miralamov. Miralamov is not the President of Azerbaijan. The claim going viral is fake.”
Facebook user S Jana, who shared this fake post, is a resident of Chennai and has 1,716 friends on Facebook.
Conclusion: Vishvas News investigated and found that the person in the video was an MP from Azerbaijan, who was sacked after the incident. This person is not the President of Azerbaijan.
