New Delhi (Vishvas News): A viral video circulating on social media shows a man being chased by the police. In the footage, the police vehicle attempts to stop the motorcycle rider, causing the young man to fall after colliding with the vehicle. Subsequently, a policeman emerges from the car and forcefully brings the bike rider to the ground. After conducting an investigation, Vishvas News has determined the viral claim to be false. The viral video actually originates from an incident that occurred in Brazil in 2021, despite being shared with the false claim of terrorists being captured in Srinagar.

What’s going viral?

A Facebook user named ‘Utishtha Bharat,’ shared a (Archive) video on July 15 accompanied by the caption, “Jai Hindu Rashtra. It is Srinagar, and Special Security Force commandos apprehend a terrorist on his bike without giving him any time to react. This became possible only after the revocation of Article 370 and 35A. However, the Supreme Court does not want anything positive to happen in India.”
