New Delhi (Vishvas News). According to many news reports, judges of the Karnataka High Court are receiving death threats after giving verdict on hijab controversy. Two people have been arrested in connection with this. Now a video is being shared on social media in this context. In the viral video, the man’s face is covered with a black cloth and two policemen are holding him and taking him away.
It is being claimed with the post that this is the same person who threatened to kill the judges over hijab verdict. Vishvas News found in its investigation that this claim is False. This video is not related to the hijab row. In fact this video is from Madhya Pradesh and it shows state police arresting criminal Amjad Lala.
Facebook user Saurabh Jha posted this video and wrote, “The man from TamilNadu who gave the death threat to the High Court judge who gave the Hijab verdict. He is currently at the custody of Karnataka Police!”
Vishvas News used the InVid tool to check this claim. With the help of this tool, we extracted several grabs of this video and searched them through Google reverse image. We found a video related to the viral claim on a YouTube channel named KHABARVALA NEWS. This video was uploaded on 15 March 2022 . According to the report, the viral video is from Madhya Pradesh, when the state police arrested criminal Amjad Lala.
Based on the information received, we searched on Google with some keywords. We got a news report related to the viral claim published on the website of Nai Dunia on 15 March 2022. According to the report, criminal Amjad Lala was arrested near the airport. Amjad was absconding for six years and in November 2020, he opened fire on TI Amit Soni of Sitamau police station in Bellary. After this, Madhya Pradesh police announced a reward of Rs 50,000 on him.
