Vishvas News first clicked on the link being shared in the post. The page that opened was not a link to Amazon’s official website. We also searched the internet with the help of keywords, but we could not find any information about any such offer. If a well-known shopping website like Amazon organizes such an event, then authentic media definitely covers it.

We contacted Amazon directly in this regard. We spoke to executive Smita Sharma on the Amazon helpline number. We sought information about this viral post. In response, calling it fake, she advised us not to click on this link.

We contacted Ayush Bhardwaj, a cyber security expert and former IT consultant of the Public Grievances Committee, Government of Rajasthan, for more information on this topic. He told us, “Through this message, the public is being misdirected to participate in a survey. Along with this, Amazon products are being hoaxed. You should understand that this URL does not belong to Amazon. In such a situation, giving your information here can be dangerous.”

This post has been shared on Facebook by a user named Wholesale Liquidation Pallet. 111 people follow the page.
