Fact Check: AI-Generated Video Of Justin Beiber Playing Harmonium At Anant Radhika’s Wedding Goes Viral

New Delhi Vishvas News – The wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have begun, with many Bollywood and Hollywood celebs attending the sangeet ceremony on July 5, 2024. Pop star Justin Bieber also arrived in Mumbai to perform at the event. Now, a picture is going viral on social media, showing Justin Bieber playing the harmonium and wearing Indian attire. Users are sharing this picture assuming it to be authentic.

Vishvas News investigated the viral video and found this claim to be fake. While Justin Bieber performed at Anant-Radhika’s sangeet ceremony, the viral photo of him Bieber playing the harmonium is not real, it is an AI-generated image.

What Is In The Viral Post?

Social media user ‘Alok Mishra’ shared the viral post (archive link ) and wrote, “Indians know how to make everyone dance, this is recorded in history as well. Long live”

Investigation:

First, we searched for Justin Bieber’s performance at Anant-Radhika’s sangeet ceremony. We found a video of Justin Bieber’s performance on Viral Bhayani’s Instagram account. In the video shared on July 6, 2024, Justin can be seen singing in Western attire. The video of Justin Bieber’s performance was also found on the verified Instagram handle of HTCity.

The viral picture looks unnatural, suggesting it was created using AI. Using the AI tool Hive Moderation, We found a 94.4 percent probability of the photo being AI-generated.

We further investigated the photo using another tool, Ease It AI, which indicated an 83.41 percent probability of it being AI-created. Additionally,  using the contentatscale.ai tool, we found a 98 percent probability of this image being created by AI.

We found a report related to the viral picture on the verified Facebook page of Boldsky. The video shared on July 5, 2024, confirmed that the viral picture on social media is AI-generated, which people are mistaking for real.

We shared the image with AI expert and founder of ALTRD, Gayatri Agarwal and she confirmed that the image was created using AI.

Additionally, we also reviewed the profile of the user who shared the post, noting they have more than three thousand followers and are identified as a resident of Lucknow.

Conclusion: The viral photo of Justin Bieber playing the harmonium at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet ceremony is AI-generated, and not real. People are sharing this photo, assuming it to be real.
