Users on social media are claiming that this incident happened recently in the flood-hit Assam. The viral claim turned out to be false in the investigation of Vishvas News. The video has nothing to do with Assam, the viral video is of the 2017 floods in Araria district of Bihar.

Vishvas News used the InVid tool to find out the veracity of the viral video. With the help of this tool, we extracted several grabs of videos and searched them through Google reverse image. We found a report related to the viral video on Dainik Jagran official youtube channel. It was uploaded on 18 August 2017. According to the caption, the viral video is from Araria district of Bihar. News agency ANI also shared this video with the same information.
On the basis of the information received, we searched on Google through some keywords. We found a report related to the viral claim published on the website of india.com on 18 August 2017. According to the information given in the report, this video is of an incident that happened in Araria district of Bihar. The incident took place on August 13, when three people lost their lives due to the collapse of the bridge.
The Quint uploaded a video report on the incident on 18 August 2017. The sister of the woman seen falling in the video and the man who shot it spoke about the incident. The woman’s sister said that she lost her family members in this incident.
