New Delhi (Vishvas News) – The G-20 event may have ended, but fake and misleading videos and pictures continue to go viral in its name. Now it is being claimed that a picture of a scene from Hindu mythology ‘Mahabharata’ was put up at the Bharat Mandapam, the venue of G20 Summit. Vishvas News investigated the viral picture and found the claim to be false. Actually, the viral picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden has been edited and shared with a misleading claim. The photo of the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence on September 8 was morphed and made viral. There is no painting of Mahabharata anywhere in the original picture.
What Is Going Viral
Facebook user Ajay Mishra posted on September 11 claiming, “Jai Shri Krishna. Yada yada hi dharmasya glanirbhavati bharatah. Abhyutthanamdharmasya tadatmanam srijamyham. Paritranaya Sadhunam Vinashaya Cha Dushkritam. Dharmasthapanaarthay Sambhavami Yuge Yuge. In the meeting at Bharat Mandapam, there was a picture of Mahabharata in the background which shows that despite all the conspiracies, religion will be established. New India. Sanatan Bharat.”

Investigation
To know the truth about the viral picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden, we first started scanning the social media accounts of the prime minister. Some pictures of the meet between the two leaders were found uploaded on PM Narendra Modi’s official Facebook account on September 8. This meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. Among these pictures, we also found the original picture shared virally after tampering and editing.
A collage of the viral picture and the original picture can be seen below. It is clear how the viral picture has been created by changing the background of the original picture.
Taking the investigation forward, we started searching more about the Biden-Modi meeting and found a video uploaded on PM Modi’s YouTube channel on September 8. It can clearly be seen that there was no painting on the wall behind where the US President and PM Modi were sitting.
During the search, pictures of the meeting were found on the PIB website. Many pictures of this conversation were released by PIB.
For more information about the viral picture, Vishvas News contacted Dainik Jagran’s national bureau chief Ashutosh Jha. While giving information, he said that the viral picture has been edited.
At the end of the investigation, the user who made the fake post viral was investigated. Facebook user Ajay Mishra is associated with a political party. 11,000 people follow him. The user lives in Delhi.
