New Delhi (Vishvas News): A video of a man circumambulating the Kedarnath temple with his hands is going viral on social media. It is being claimed that this is an old video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he circumambulated in this style at the age of 26. In our investigation, we found that this claim is false. Viral video has nothing to do with PM Modi. The person seen in the video is Teerth Purohit Santosh Trivedi.

While sharing the viral video, Facebook user Pradip Nalamwar has claimed that the person seen in the video is PM Modi.

Investigation :
We searched on Google through some keywords. We found a news report related to the viral video on Etv Bharat.com. It was published on June 21, 2021. According to the information, the person seen in the video is Teerth Purohit Santosh Trivedi, who circumambulated the Kedarnath temple with the help of his hands.
We also found news related to the viral video published on Zee News website. The news was published on June 21, 2021. According to the report, “On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Kedarnath Teerth Purohit Samaj celebrated Yoga Day by practicing yoga in the world famous Kedarnath Dham. During this, Teerth Purohit Santosh Trivedi, who has been doing headstand movement for the last seven days, circumambulated the Kedarnath temple with the help of his hands”. Read full news here.
We found the viral video on several Facebook pages. A Facebook page named “Dev Bhoomi Shri Kedarnath Dham” shared this video on June 21, 2021. The caption read, “Param Yogi Mahadev Kedareshwar’s Shri Charan Acharya Shri Santosh Trivedi ji circumambulating Kedarnath Jyotirlinga temple with his yoga. He is giving a message, yoga is the reason for a healthy heart, wishing everyone a very happy World Yoga Day, ‘Jai Shri Kedar’ watch the video here.
This is not the first time that Teerth Purohit Santosh Trivedi has circumambulated the Kedarnath temple in this way. Many times in the past, Santosh Trivedi has circumambulated the Kedarnath temple with the help of his hands.
For more information we contacted Acharya Santosh Trivedi. He told us that he is in the video. The viral claim is false. He also said that he has done such circumambulation many times before. He also shared with us some of his videos and photos, which are from this year.
At the end of the investigation, we did social scanning of Facebook user Pradip Nalamwar who shared this post. From scanning, we came to know that the user is a resident of Chandrapur. The user has 190 friends on Facebook.
Conclusion: In our investigation, we found that this claim circulating on the name of PM Modi is false. Viral video has nothing to do with PM Modi. The person seen in the video is Teerth Purohit Santosh Trivedi.
