New Delhi (Vishvas News): In a picture viral on social media, a man resembling Rahul Gandhi can be seen getting his ear cleaned by a street vendor on the roadside. It is being claimed with the post that this is Rahul Gandhi. Many people are taunting him through the post. Vishvas News found in its investigation that this picture is edited. Rahul Gandhi was not in the original picture.

Vishvas News searched this image with Google reverse image tool. We found this picture at so.city. But the man who was getting his ear cleaned, was not Rahul Gandhi, but a foreigner. This news was filed on 13 Mar 2016.

We also found this image in a story file at thestatesman.com on September 27, 2021. In this picture also, the man who was getting his ear cleaned, was not Rahul Gandhi, but a foreigner.

We reached out to Congress leader Pranav Jha in this regard. He told that the viral picture is edited.
