Fact Check: This Viral Image Of A Young Woman From The Cockroach Janata Party Protest Is AI-Generated

New Delhi (Vishvas News). Although the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP) protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar ended after the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, some social media users are still spreading lies and confusion by sharing pictures and videos related to the protest. A picture of a young woman is being shared with the claim that it was clicked during the protest. This picture is being used not only to question the woman’s clothing, but some users are also raising questions about the entire CJP movement by sharing it with communal claims. Many users are sharing this picture on social media, believing it to be true.

Vishvas News investigated the viral image and found it to be fake. Our investigation revealed that AI technology was used to create it. Vishvas News has also investigated several social media posts related to the Cockroach Janata Party. Those reports can be read here .

What is viral?

Facebook user Rajnish Kumar shared a photo on July 26, 2026 and wrote, “In the name of protest, Hindu daughters are flaunting their bodies, and they are being supported by the very society that keeps its women confined in burqas and hijabs. This society is secretly rejoicing at the moral degradation of Hindu society, because these girls are the ones who will become victims of love jihad. In reality, this protest is becoming a means of inviting people to their religion. If Islam, Christianity, or Sikhism were abused in this protest, throats would have already been slit, but here only Hinduism is being abused. Hindu daughters are using abusive language that even boys would be ashamed to use. It’s strange that this is being supported by those who regularly visit temples, pilgrimage sites, and hold religious ceremonies in their homes. Such people have become so blinded by their opposition to Modi that they are sending them food online, 90% of which ends up in the garbage. Those who fight with poor people for every penny.” They are sending food worth thousands of rupees here. If Islam were insulted at such an event, not a single Muslim would send food here or support them. Such treachery and shamelessness are found only among Hindus. I urge such Hindus to abandon Hinduism and adopt another religion, so that we can find out the true Hindu population…”

Investigation

Vishvas News first scanned the viral photo using the Google Lens tool. We couldn’t find this image anywhere except on a few social media handles. During our search, we found the earliest posting of this photo on an Instagram account named ‘Vishal Soni’. The post was shared on July 23, 2026. It was claimed in the post that the image was generated using an AI tool. The profile of this Instagram account describes it as, ‘Premium Realistic Content’. We also found several AI-generated images of women on this account.

Vishvas News continued the investigation and closely examined the viral image by zooming in. We noticed some inconsistencies in the text on the signboard, which are common in AI-generated images. The letters used to write the name of the places on the signboard appeared incorrect. This led us to suspect that the image was fake.

Continuing our investigation, we analyzed the viral photo using AI detection tools. We first examined it using ‘sight engine‘. The analysis indicated a 99% probability that the image was AI-generated.

Next, we used ‘isitai’ and this tool indicated a 99 percent probability that the image was generated using AI.

We also examined the image using a third tool, ‘undetectable.ai’. This tool also suggested the photo was likely created by AI.

Vishvas News contacted AI expert Azhar Machwe to seek expert opinion on the image. He explained that a close examination of the viral image reveals several inconsistencies. The woman’s hair on her left shoulder appears unnatural. Some of the english text in the slogans contains errors. The signboard also has many flaws. This suggests that the image was generated using AI.

Finally, Vishvas News contacted Vishal Soni, the Instagram user who created the viral image. He confirmed that the viral image of the young woman being circulated as a photo from the CJP’s Jantar Mantar protest is fictional and it was created by him.

What is the context?

The Cockroach Janata Party’s protest, which began with the demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in NEET and other examinations, ended after he resigned. The protest began on June 20, 2026, at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Under mounting pressure from students, the Education Minister finally resigned on July 25, 2026. We also examined the profile of the Facebook user who shared the fake post. It was found that the account has more than 1,700 followers. It was created in 2019. The user is from Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh.

Conclusion: Vishvas News investigated and found that the viral image of a young woman falsely claimed to be from the Cockroach Janata Party student protest is fake. It was created using AI tools.
