We will notify you during account setup. However, we won’t be liable for the denial of services due to insufficient personal information.

All undefined terms follow the Terms of Use. vishvasnews.com doesn’t provide personal information to advertisers when interacting with targeted ads. However, advertisers may assume you meet their targeting criteria by interacting with an ad.

V. Children

To use the website/ mobile application you agree that you must be the minimum age (described in this paragraph below) or older.

VI. Information Sharing

We restrict access to your Personal Information to employees who we believe reasonably need to know/or that information in order to fulfil their jobs to provide, operate, develop, or improve our products or services MMI does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you’ve requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  • We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with ‘MMI’ under confidentiality agreements. VII. Retention of personal information

Your personal information processed by MMI will be maintained in a way that allows your identification for no longer than necessary, as determined by the specific purposes for which the data is processed, and in accordance with relevant legal, regulatory, contractual, or statutory obligations.

Once these stipulated periods have elapsed, your personal information will either be deleted or archived to conform to legal and contractual retention requirements or as dictated by statutory limitation periods.

When you use the Services on our Website/application (or any of its sub sites), we make reasonable efforts to provide you, as and when requested by you, with access to your personal information and shall further ensure that any personal information or sensitive personal data or information found to be inaccurate or deficient shall be corrected or amended as feasible. We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed or corrected before processing such requests. We may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, requiring disproportionate technical effort, jeopardizing the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes), or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case, where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort. We retain your personal information as long as necessary for us to provide services to you or you ask us to not retain your data. If you no longer want us to use your information then you can request that we erase your personal information and close your MMI Services account. Please note that if you request for the erasure of your personal information;

  • We may retain some of your personal information as necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud detection and prevention and enhancing safety. For example, if we suspend MMI service account for fraud or safety reasons, we may retain certain information from that account to prevent that user from opening a new account in the future.
  • We may retain and use your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations. For example, we may keep some of your information for tax, legal reporting and auditing obligations.
  • Information you have shared with others (e.g., Reviews, forum postings) may continue to be publicly visible on the MMI Services, even after your account is cancelled. However, attribution of such information to you will be removed. Additionally, some copies of your information (e.g., log records) may remain in our database, but are disassociated from personal identifiers.
  • Because of the way we maintain certain services, after you delete your information, residual copies may take a period of time before they are deleted from our active servers and may remain in our backup systems.
  1. Withdrawing Consent and Restriction of Processing

For withdrawing your consent at any time during the tenure of your services with us, you may choose to do so by sending us an e-mail. We shall review your request and may ask you to verify your identity. Post verification we will withdraw the consent for which request was made by you and stop any further processing of your personal information.

  1. Right to Object to the Processing

Except in very specific cases where provided by law, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you.
Such right can be exercised at any time where your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes.

MMI shall provide information on action taken on a request pertaining to the rights above without undue delay and in any event within one month of receipt of the request. That period may be extended by two further months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of the requests. MMI shall inform the data subject of any such extension within one month of receipt of the request, together with the reasons for delay.

All information gathered is securely stored within the Company controlled database. The database is stored on servers secured behind a firewall on the cloud; access to the servers is password-protected and is strictly limited. However, as effective as our security measures are, no security system is impenetrable. If you know or have reason to believe that your MMI Services account credentials have been lost, stolen, altered, or otherwise compromised or in case of any actual or suspected unauthorized use of your account, please contact us by contacting our customer support team.

  1. Cross-Border Data Transfers 

Given our global presence, there may be instances where we must transfer your personal information to third parties located worldwide for the purposes described in this privacy policy. It is essential to emphasize that such transfers will exclusively take place when we have ascertained that these third parties can provide an adequate and appropriate level of data protection, and that the transfer of information aligns with all pertinent provisions of the Digital Data Protection Act 2023.

Our unwavering commitment lies in upholding our legal and regulatory responsibilities regarding your personal information. This encompasses establishing a lawful basis for the transfer of personal data and incorporating necessary safeguards to ensure that your information benefits from a suitable level of protection. Additionally, we will take every measure to ensure that the recipient in the receiving country is bound by a commitment to protect your information at a security level that matches the standards mandated by applicable laws. Our justification for such transfers will be firmly rooted in the data’s content or one of the safeguards endorsed by the law.

XII. Social media

MMI operates channels, pages and accounts on some social media sites to inform, assist and engage with you. MMI monitors and records comments and posts made on these channels about MMI in order to improve its products and services.

Please note that you must not communicate with MMI through such social media sites the following information:

  • Sensitive personal data including (i) special categories of personal data meaning any information revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation and (ii) other sensitive personal data such as criminal convictions and offences and national identification number ;
  • Excessive, inappropriate, offensive or insulting information towards individuals.

MMI is not responsible for any information posted on those sites other than the information posted by its employees on its behalf. MMI is only responsible for its own use of the personal data received through such sites.

MMI reserves the right to update, change or modify this policy at any time. The policy shall come to effect from the date of such update, change or modification.

MMI shall not bear responsibility for any loss or damage incurred due to the inadvertent or intentional disclosure of user account information, or details pertaining to online transactions involving credit cards, debit cards, and their respective verification processes. This exemption extends to any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in such disclosed information, regardless of whether such disclosure is a result of legal processes or any other circumstances.

Any personal information voluntarily provided by you, which MMI did not explicitly request during registration, whether mandatory or optional, will be considered as willingly and intentionally furnished.
